MASTER PLAN OAKLAND CITY UNIVERSITY

_

Client: Oakland City University

Type: Planning and Data Visualization

This project began with an exhaustive survey of “square-footage uses” across the campus. By consolidating this inventory of building uses into a collection of info-graphics and diagrams, the project allowed “square feet” to be appropriated as a unit of exchange or a form of currency when accounting for the costs and benefits of future master plan proposals. This approach assisted in ‘coloring’ the executive board’s conversations in light of what students get, rather than simply what buildings cost.
